🇫🇷 Filmée avant sa fermeture, Laem Ka Beach est une jolie et très agréable plage, interdite au public jusqu’à nouvel ordre.
Un escalier raide en très mauvais état, menait à cette plage tranquille d’environ 200 m, cachée de la vue de tous, encadrée et parsemée de blocs rocheux, peu fréquentée, au sable fin et blanc.
Elle est cernée en arrière-plan par une belle végétation, arbres et palmiers, son eau est belle et les couleurs sublimes.
C’était un des endroits secrets de Phuket mais qui est une propriété privée.
Quelques bâtiments rappelant que des activités touristiques et de restauration avaient existé jadis dans ce lieu, étaient par absence d’entretien pendant plusieurs années, tombés en ruines.
Pendant longtemps, des minibus ont vomi des touristes toujours plus nombreux, ficelés dans des gilets de sauvetage et qui devaient rejoindre des speed-boats à l’arrêt le long de la plage pour les emporter vers des îles magiques.
En fin de journée, le ballet se faisait dans le sens inverse et tout rentrait dans l’ordre, le calme régnait à nouveau sur Laem Ka Beach.
De la plage par beau temps, on aperçoit les îles de Ko Lon, Ko Aeo qui sont les plus proches, ainsi que Ko Bon et Coral Island qui sont de bons plans à retenir pour se restaurer et passer une excellente journée sur ces îles.
C’était un endroit agréable, ombragé à partir de midi, pour pique-niquer, se baigner, faire la sieste, discuter entre amis et pour les enfants, s’éclabousser et jouer.
Bref, un endroit charmant malgré que certains s’accordaient le droit de laisser n’importe où les plastiques et bouteilles de leurs pique-niques…
Rêvons que l’accès à Laem Ka Beach soit à nouveau autorisé.

From Rawai on the east coast of Phuket, through a small road that led to a checkpoint, we crossed a private coconut grove. Then, at the end of a bumpy road, we reached what appeared to be a parking lot.
A steep staircase in very bad condition, led to this quiet beach of about 200 m, hidden from view of all, framed and dotted with boulders, uncrowded, fine sand and white.
It is surrounded in the background by beautiful vegetation, trees and palms, the water is beautiful and the colors sublime.
It was one of Phuket‘s secret places but is privately owned.
Some buildings recalling that tourist and restoration activities had once existed in this place, were by lack of maintenance for several years, fallen into ruins.
For a long time, minibuses threw up more and more tourists, tied up in lifejackets and had to join speedboats at the stop along the beach to take them to magical islands.
At the end of the day, the ballet was in the opposite direction and everything was back in order, calm reigned again on Laem Ka Beach.
From the beach in good weather, we can see the islands of Ko Lon, Ko Aeo which are the closest, as well as Ko Bon and Coral Island which are good tips to remember to eat and have a great day on these islands.
It was a nice place, shaded from noon, to have a picnic, swim, take a nap, chat with friends and for the kids, splash and play.
In short, a charming place, despite the fact that some people were allowed to leave plastics and bottles of their picnics anywhere …
Let’s hope that access to Laem Ka Beach is again allowed.
