Cette plage rocheuse peu connue il y a quelques années, remporte aujourd’hui un franc succès. C’est en réalité une succession de trois petites plages séparées par des promontoires rocheux. On y trouve un restaurant de cuisine locale avec des bungalows en location au confort rustique et donnant sur la plage. En retrait dans la jungle au-dessus de la plage, se trouve le Baan Krating Phuket Resort au confort plus élaboré.
Lorsque la marée est haute, on peut pratiquer la plongée sous-marine et le snorkeling. La faune subaquatique y est abondante et colorée. Pendant la haute saison, on peut aussi louer des kayaks. La bonne nouvelle est l’absence d’engins à moteur qui pourraient déranger les amateurs de ce petit coin de paradis.
Ao Sane est une plage dite « secrète » dont on peut évoquer l’accès car il est déjà trop tard pour garder le secret. L’attrait de cette plage isolée réside dans sa quiétude qui rend le lieu magique, en dehors de la haute saison touristique.
🇬🇧 The beautiful Ao Sane Beach is located at the northern tip of Phuket‘s beautiful Nai Harn Beach. To the right of Nai Harn, pass the hotel « The Nai Harn » and follow the small road that winds for about a kilometer to the improvised parking above the beach.
This rocky beach, little known a few years ago, is now a great success. It is actually a succession of three small beaches separated by rocky promontories.
There is a local restaurant with bungalows for rent with rustic comfort and overlooking the beach. Set back in the jungle above the beach, lies the Baan Krating Phuket Resort with more elaborate comfort.
When the tide is high, you can practice scuba diving and snorkeling. The underwater fauna is abundant and colorful.
During the high season, you can also rent kayaks.
The good news is the absence of motorized equipment that could disturb fans of this little corner of paradise.
Ao Sane is a so-called « secret » beach which we can evoke access because it is already too late to keep the secret.
The attraction of this secluded beach lies in its tranquility that makes the place magical, outside the peak tourist season.
